listen Honey, it's nothing that a nice cup of hot chocolate, some comfy feety pajamas and then putting your head on my lap so that I can stroke your hair couldn't cure (well the last part might be more for me, but I do give good scalp massages

oh, wow Dan GOD DAMN I could use that right now... OH! you means zee art piece. I was crossing my fingers I wasn't gonna get a bunch of questions concerning the snow. Glad it's apparent - at least to one person. Good Morning, Bubbi! I'm getting more and more gutsy about wanting real positive AND negative feed back. I wasn't able to suffer bad news about my art until I started trying all these new mediums. -- We'll drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight!! Oy! -'Flogging Molly' plain; WOW
You've caught the moment when you, because of the lack of sleep, get pissed and annoyed, because you don't see straight, and mix up imagery, thoughts and reality! It looks like you bend your neck towards us, and trying to focus. The expression in your eyes are, what it seems to me, the one of a person trying to shake off what isn't actually there! GREAT piece! Omg, this is you, right? You look almost exactly like one of my cousins!
You've got skills. And an awesome imagination to go with them. -- Admitting Doctor for =Dark-Arts-Asylum The insane half of =timerelease-ue Co-founder of =Artistic-Maneuvers ~DocDStock - My stock account --- I'm a perfectionist, and perfect is a skinned knee. |

I like the way you have done the burned out bits. This looks as if the fire / burning has come from the inside, which those tired limb pains do. You know when you burn paper from underneath and it first starts to blister then the hole appears like a little volcano - this is how these wounds look. Then the flame ripples out in a circle.
This peice still has a focus on the eyes which is good because it still gives the viewer a firm relationshion with you - if it was too blurry around the eyes and nose then I think this would be lost.
There also seems to be a sense of maybe floating within water here, maybe also a dream like sense - the bit like you get when you are on the verge of sleep and the flashes of images apprear that make no sense at all.
I would suggest that maybe you try blowing the perspective a little more - like being close to a wide angle lense - this I think might add to a sense of paranoia.
Well done. This fits in very well and is very well thought out.
